As a locally-owned and family-run daycare centre, Bloom is devoted to providing the highest quality of care and education for Papamoa’s little people in their early years. We believe that all little ones should feel connected, understood, loved and supported during their learning journey and will experience joy and happiness while in our care. Our early learning programs are enriching and always fun. We tailor every lesson to reflect the wonder of our natural world as much as possible.
Family traditions and respectful relationships are at the heart of everything we do, influencing everything from nap time to nourishment. Through nurturing and caring relationships as well as fun interactions with each other, our little ones (and big ones) are taught to respect the environment and their friends. Whanau goals and aspirations for children are very important to us. Family members are encouraged to share these with us so that we can provide opportunities to enhance the learning of our children.

We value open, honest and respectful, daily connection and place huge importance on sharing the special, daily experiences of babies, toddlers and big preschoolers with our Bloom family. We are committed to the Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whaaraki which has created a vision where children are confident, competent, secure, valued and healthy.
We believe in fostering children’s independence and we do this by allowing children time and opportunities to explore and solve things themselves. Our daily rituals give our little ones a sense of ownership over their special home away from home here at Bloom. Our preschoolers are encouraged to take responsibility for the daily running of their room, caring for the gardens and pets and are supported to develop self-help skills and independence.
Our beautiful and creative environments help to maximize learning opportunities and it is our belief that our little one’s should have the choice to be inside or outside, wherever they feel safe and comfortable. Our resources are hand-picked to engage, support and motivate our little people to be creative thinkers. In this happy, calm yet stimulating, family/home like environment we believe children can grow in confidence and delight in their own unique abilities and strengths.
